2009 Pronto Bianco (Adelaide Hills)
Pronto Bianco is a blend of 47% Sauvignon Blanc, 41% Riesling and 17% Pinot gris. The components were combined as juice and cold fermented to retain purity. The result is a mouth watering white bringing together the passionfruit tang of sauvignon, the rich texture and pear and lychee flavours of gris and the floral, citrus and zesty acidity of Riesling. Pronto Bianco is ready to drink now, but will evolve in bottle for two - three years. - Stephen Pannell
